Look for the MBCS Float in the PG Parade of Lights!
Monterey Bay Charter School creates a float every year for the Pacific Grove Holiday Parade of Lights which is scheduled for Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 6 pm to 8 pm along Lighthouse Avenue. The 22nd annual event will feature a “Jingle & Glow” theme and include marching bands, festive floats, dance teams, animals, and and of course Santa Claus! Rain or Shine!
We hope to see you there!
Our Lantern Walks
A Tradition of Warmth, Light, and Community
Every fall, our lower grade classes take part in a cherished Lantern Walk. The Lantern Walk is a simple, reverent celebration that invites us to notice the quiet strength of our inner light. As we walk peacefully together, the children carry their glowing lanterns, and join in singing traditional lantern songs that remind us to be warmth and light for ourselves and for others.
Each hand-made lantern represents the protection of a child’s own inner flame—small and delicate, yet bright enough to bring warmth into the darkness.
