MBCS offers competitive compensation that includes salary and benefits.
MBCS places all employees on the applicable salary schedule. Teachers are placed based on experience as instructor of record in a K-12 classroom and according to established guidelines. For administrative and hourly positions, MBCS assigns each position to a band based on multiple considerations including scope and level of responsibility, supervisory load, required prior experience, and band placement for similar positions.
An attractive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance as well as retirement benefits through the California State Teachers Retirement System (CalSTRS) or California Public Employees Retirement System (PERS) for assignments of .75 FTE and above.
MBCS bases selection for all positions solely on merit.
