Our MBCS Summer Program was a Huge Success!
What an amazing four weeks we had with our summer program students!
This summer, students learned how to make fossils of seashells, learned about the different ocean zones and the variety of life forms that live there. Each of the groups learned how to bake delicious cinnamon rolls from scratch, which filled the hallways with the sweet smell of cinnamon. Students planted new beautiful flowers into the PG campus raised garden beds and completed field/nature studies by using magnifying glasses to get an up close look at the natural world. There were many fun trips, plenty of art, needle felting, learning about nature, reading, crafting, gardening, and countless hours of fun!
Thank you to everyone who participated; our service learners for lending helping hands, our fun and caring counselors, amazing teachers and our fearless summer program leader, Ms. Kristina! We are all so very grateful to have had this opportunity to work together, make new friends, and create wonderful summer memories.
