Join us for our Annual Fundraiser taking place on Saturday, October 17, 2026 with a Fall Themed Party! This Annual Benefit Dinner & Auction is the largest fundraiser of the year, an evening to rejoice with each other, as well as raise money to continue our mission as a school. All proceeds from our auction are allocated toward our music and theater programs, which will ultimately enhance the educational experience for our children.

MBCS Enters Its 11th Year as an Ocean Guardian School
Upcoming Beach Clean Up: Saturday, September 19, 9 – 11am, Casa Verde Beach
We are pleased to announce that Monterey Bay Charter has been officially recognized by NOAA’s Office of National Marine Sanctuaries as a NOAA Ocean Guardian School, for the past eleven years!
MBCS is the only school in Monterey County to receive this award and only the second school in the nation to receive this recognition!
MBCS will continue work on our marine debris project this school year. As a result, MBCS will be adopting Casa Verde beach for the third year in a row.
Our next beach clean up will be Saturday, September 19 from 9am to 11am at Casa Verde Beach.
