Our Amazing School Field Trips Have Resumed

School is back in session, and so are our outdoor adventures!

Our sixth graders recently returned from an unforgettable camping trip to Lassen Volcanic National Park, where they explored breathtaking landscapes, hiked to the summit of Mount Lassen, and spent four nights and five days immersed in the Volcano Adventure Camp.

Field trips like this are a vital part of our curriculum and are fully covered in our annual budget—ensuring every student can participate, regardless of cost. These opportunities are made possible by the generosity of our donors. Thank you for supporting hands-on learning experiences that bring education to life in the great outdoors!

Donor Spotlight: Hayward Lumber

We are excited to share that our outdoor stage expansion was made possible thanks to the generosity of Hayward Lumber, who donated all of the materials for the project. We are deeply grateful for Hayward Lumber’s continued support of our school community!

The Bottle Cap Buddy Mural is Done!

We’re excited to share that the 3rd grade/8th grade Bottle Cap Buddy mural from last school year is now complete! Created entirely from recycled bottle caps of all shapes, sizes, and colors, the mural is proudly displayed on the back side of the PG campus garden chalkboard.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated bottle caps, to Megan Mach (last year’s garden coordinator) for leading the project, and to Brye Baker, 3rd grade parent, for bringing all the pieces together. The result is a vibrant, collaborative work of art that reflects the creativity of our students and community!
